Split Beak Repair?

I just got this girl from an auction and after I got her home I noticed that she has a split upper beak. The crack in the beak seems to go all the way up. She does seem to eat and drink ok, Is there a way to repair her beak so she can live a happier life? Perhaps trim the upper and lower beak back a bit and patch the crack with some super glue or epoxy putty? Advise or links to a demo of the repair would be appreciated.

She is currently under quarantee for the next couple of weeks.

Hi There, I read your post about the split beak, on one of your lovely girl's.
I'm just wondering what happened to this little brown chick, Did you get it fixed? or did it fix itself?
the reason why I'm asking is because we have 2 of our girls with the same problem, One Isa Brown (like yours) and the other is an Australorp and I'm wondering what to do. two girls out of 10, so i'm thinking its not diet or life style. they are young girls not even laying yet. Any Advice
