One of these things song is from Sesame Street a long time ago, unless they've resurrected it in modern times. Nice photo. The Goth chicken in black is trying to get the others to skip school to run free and wild & maybe get a tattoo. Gotta be.

I've been whining about the heat for days now. We have been sweating like crazy while building our new chicken coop. Hard to believe most of the country is frozen.

yeah she's in amongst potato plants, never had any interest in eating them when she's gotten in there thankfully. just standing in amongst them looking beautiful

she only seemed to eat all the strawberries and whatever exciting treats she finds under all the straw mulch she was kicking around. that's why i was never too worried about her getting in there. she didn't really wreck anything and weeded for me while she was getting under the mulch.
