So one of my ducks has spraddle leg and I need some advice... when he was a duckling, I honestly couldn’t tell but the bigger he’s getting, the more noticeable it is, but he’s too big for the bandaid thing. I tried Velcro which worked to keep his legs in when he was walking but the minute he would sit down, he’d kick his legs back and couldn’t get back up. I’m out of ideas... he seems to walk okay in the grass and driveway but anything remotely slick (garage, carpet, etc), he can’t get himself up on. I’ve been giving him the nutri-drench stuff but is there anything else I can do??

I’m having the exact same issue with my duck. I’ve been giving it Bvitamin squirts in the mouth and putting brewers yeast in the food. It seems like it might be getting better but then it could be that the duck is learning to compensate for its “disability.” Will this get better? What else can i do? Any help is greatly appreciated. I’m a first time chicken and duck owner and trying to do everything right.

sounds like you are doing what needs to be done. It should keep improving.
