I took the heat lamp out of our coops yesterday. My chickies are big birds now! (Well, except the 3 still in the brooder in the bathroom. Lol )

Welcome all new members! My question is this: all you folks with 15, 20, 30 chickens what the heck are you going to do with all those eggs?. I have 10 chicks but two definite cockerels and maybe at least one more so I'll probably have about 6 or 7 layers. That's a lot of eggs! Just curious. I know chicken math is a real thing. There are so many cool breeds and they are so beautiful and fun to watch but that's a whole lotta eggs
. And also how big are your coops for this many chickens? I'm limited by my coop size. My coop is about 36 square feet. So can't put too many in there. I guess I'm asking because I know I will want more next year but just not sure how to manage it with all those extra eggs and room in the coop.![]()
