They must have arrived this weekend...just now starting to see a couple.

Spring ? We haven't had winter here yet. Lately the robins winter here. The club that I belong to has an abundance of bittersweet, winter berry, autumn olive, multiflora rose and other seed and fruit bearing wild plants that they feed on. This winter? with little to no snow and frozen ground they are still accessing worms. This is the first fall/winter that we have not hosted a flight of woodcock.

No signs of spring here, but I’m not expecting any for a while .
However, if anyone wants to direct some Mallards, Robins, or Canada Geese my way, I’d appreciate it! Daphne eagerly looks forward to the arrival of the Mallards, especially those dashingly handsome drakes!

It seems the four Mallards used our pond only as a pit-stop and have continued their journey to the north. Maybe they are already on their way to you? - Didn't know that Daphne likes Mallard drakes too, otherwise i would have asked those boys if they know her.
