Spring Chick Fever

AHHH!!!

I was in Rural King this afternoon and they had tubs and tubs full of chicks.....

Gives you spring and baby bird fever....and makes you want to take a load of them home with you.

Tell me about it! Our local feed stores finally just put out signs saying, "Order forms for chicks available-February" Or something similar.

But we will be hatching from our incubator and maybe one or two of our hens will go broody.

The local feedstore here had chicks a couple weeks ago... yeah... 5 EE ended up coming home with me.

our feed store,, doesnt sell any chicks.... probably a good thing,,

I hate buying them from there; I'd rather hatch my own or buy from someone privately...
Not like I NEEDED them, but wanted more EEs too...
I'm weak... and I felt sorry for the poor little babies too.
