He did that a little here too, those are "his" girls, that one has never actually attacked, the other gander we had was nasty, he wouldn't let us out of the house some days, he would grab us everytime.

One of the sebbs is doing to me too. would that be the boy?

Probably. We were guessing there were 3 & 3. One of the boys was more dominant...

my husband and I had a great time at the swap! We got 4 RIR's 3 Americana's 2 barred rocks and a black sex link pullets and two east indie ducklings! Sorry we couldnt stay long and mingle, but I had to run to Mason NH and help out my step mom with fixing her fence. Thanks for hosting Shay !

This is why I will never own geese.

I agree , and should set up pony rides too lol, ( not the mini's)

Laura the gander hates me, he hisses and displays like he is goignto eat me, LOL
what a silly guy. they are such nice geese though I totally love them.

Maybe by then I'll have the minis trained to the cart and give cart rides.

Sky is great for giving rides to the kids...he looks kinda bored walking in a circle, but he's very patient about it (probably the only time that horse is patient about anything! LOL)

Ya, those geese are beautiful! We're all set with waterfowl for a LONG time, but if we ever got more geese, it would definitely be Pilgrims!

Great idea!! Didn't realize you had Mini's (course I would need to read, right lol) Sarah has a gelding that is cart trained, got a cart from Tammy now we just need the harness for him. Going to train a couple of the others too

That's our next hurdle to cart training, getting a harness!

I wish I had made it. I REALLY would have loved to get those splash silkies that Sarah posted the pictures of. Darn!!! Anyone have any splash silkies for sale? I could meet you somewhere. I actually would love to get some buff or blues too. My son came down sick and I didn't make it out to the swap. Was looking forward to meeting you guys and bringing some rabbits too.

Those splashes were boys though. If your son has that stomach thing that's going around we're glad you stayed home! We were wonding why you didn't make it. We would like to have seen your rabbits and guinea pigs.

Sarah had something today and I have had a headache all day. Didn't you also have some cavies? May have some Silkies later, right now no pullets, just have the boys left

Silkies haven't started laying really well yet.
