Pony rides huh?

I have a Halflinger pony cross that will do pony rides.....wicked cute, and super tame. Take her thru Shriners parades like shes walking thru the park. That would be a treat for her

- She pulles a cart too, so she could do a small hay ride.

Let me know next time and I'll bring her

Pony rides are always a huge hit with the kids.
Snow maybe concider bringing her for milford?
1.00 a ride might make the trip down with her well worth it.
contact Jim at TSC and see if he is willing, of course shovels are a necessity for clean up later.

Wendy, the sign idea is a good one, are you thinking just small signs per vendor or a large sign with everyone on it?
where is my wood burning set I can start popping mine off imediately.
There is just something about the smell of scorched wood.( unless its the one where handy dandy idiot leaves the stove open and the damper closed

It's weird how getting rid of only six chickens will make the flock look tiny! Lol. So much less crowing! Dad is happy

how are your three partridge doing?

Did you guys invite the "general public" too? Like Craigslist or a posting at the feed store? If not, would you invite them next time?

I'm always amazed at how many people who raise chickens don't know about the big auctions here, like its a big secret or something? Lots of them would love to improve their flocks with quality stuff. Of course, then I get people who just want a plain ole chicken that lays a brown egg.

I can't believe I missed this, It looked like a lot of fun. I wanted to go but was to buisy putting up horse fencing all weekend. I'm hopeing to make Milford, not sure if I'm working yet. I may have some Serama chicks soon if anyone is interested, I have two hens that went broody. One hen just went broody a couple of days ago the other is due to hatch this weekend and my white call Duck built a nest and is laying eggs. I expect her to go broody any time. She's a great Mom
