Spring "Unveiling" soon!

I think unveiling anything that has to do with Thang would be detrimental to this thread.He is best if left alone to be content in his own little fantasy world.He's only special to those that feel sympathy and have empathy towards his wild nature.The Thang movement can move forward this spring.No use showing him in his growing out stage since he wasn't born with a wheel barrows worth of good looks to begin with.

Frenchblackcopper. I just had to tell you I had a ball reading all of your peapalace thread.I somehow missed it. It was great. Great job. I learned a little about Thang too. I hope you and your birds have a great "unvieling' this year and many more. Shawn

Shawn, I read several of your posts over in the waterfowl-duck section last summer.That seems to be your area of expertise.I'm lost on ducks and was considering getting some ornamental ducks such as teals-mandarins ect,but the work of digging pods,plumbing,water and then all the mudd ducks makes made me realize peafowl excuses for building are much easier solved.Less grunt for the buck.Glad to see you in our little world of Peafowl over here.
Yoda,,when I fed the pen that Thangs in today he was atop a perch.He naturally had his long a-- tail pointed my way because he was looking for an escape route.His train does look good at this point.He seems to have a row of green fathers along each side not quite along the bottom edge if you envision his train fanned out.He is very,very difficult to photograph and as cold as it is outside I'd get frostbite waiting for his shenannigans to stop long enough to snap a few good ones.Maybe this weekend if he's out and doesn't have his stupid hat on I'll try and get one or so but really,he's only special to a limited few here.

Yep I do love my ducks and Ill help you when you get ready for them messy rascals. I can mainly blame Minxfox for getting me hooked on peafowl.Her pics reeled me in. Plus You, zaz,yoda kuntrygirl,,,etc.well you get the picture.LOL! Definitely the ducks take more work. I like yalls little world. Lotta nice folks here . I would probably get a whole bunch of peafowl but I live in the city and dont have the room unfortunately.Plus I can only have the greens cause they dont make noise like all the other varieties. I love the calls the IBs make but I would hate to make the neighbors mad. Im a country boy living in the city. I have friends not too far away that keep peafowl so between them and yall on here I get my "fix"on what I dont keep. My wife likes the peacocks and knows I am a bird nut. Im on BYC more than I probably should be. She calls this my "chicken porn." thats how bad it is sometimes.

But really I have met some great friends thru here. And Blessed to then meet them in real life as well.
