I just ordered a Brinse 20 Advance today; it will be here Monday! I will be joining this hatch-a-long for sure. I appreciate any tips. I have researched incubators for HOURS and I hope I picked the right one. Can't wait!

I have this model and it's fab!! Set & forget and has produced me some excellent hatches.

That's the spirit! Need pics of the Mad Chicken Lab!

In theory/my imagination, the Mad Chicken Lab will have an aquarium, mini fridge, electric grill, and oven all set up as incubators/hatchers. It will have stainless steel tables and some rusty old lockers filled with tools (some rusty). My biggest obstacle in this goal is running water. DH doesn't want to deal with running water out there and that leaves me to either start digging and doing it all myself or forgetting the idea. (To his credit, DH is already very busy finishing our house, so I don't fault him for not wanting to work on the barn until the house is done.) I am learning more about motors, torque, electricity, thermal mass, genetics, health, and so many other things since starting this crazy adventure last April.
