Glad you made it over to join us here!
Well I think I was wrong on what flavor chicks some of them are. I think the Partridge Chantecler mix are an all brown chick not black. Just took this group out.
Hi! My name is Rachael but you can use the handle on here too. I am planning on setting eggs in April, and I have 42 in the bator now and another 12+ on the way. They will be pure blue (bbs) American orpingtons, barnyard mix, and anything else I can find!!
On a sidenote, I'm also part of the npip program, the MN wegby hatchery program, and have had my birds tested for mg and ms. I am also part way through becoming a poultry testing agent through the state here.
I really wanna sign up, but I have eggs in now 1/2 way done, adding eggs Easter Sunday. Do I need more chicks? Yep, gotta find more eggs.
Welcome! You must do plenty of hatching. Nice to see you are NPIP, and working on becoming a testing agent!
Sounds like you'll have plenty of eggs in an incubator in April to join us!
I might set duck eggs and a few chicken eggs my Ehal broody hasn't hatched but I know my duck eggs will be fertile. I already have 2 almost 3 month old ducklings off them I hatched
Ehat kind of docks? It seems like a lot of people are hatching Ducks right now
