No, Chicken Hawk. I think you can see how it goes. It is a new little one. Are you letting it sleep at all?Should I cull him
Congratulations! I'm not sure about the dumb part, what makes you think that? I find ducks rather amusing. My Icelandic eggs are due in tomorrow! I can't wait!
Okay, I don't want anyone to get upset with me (Banti) but I don't get the duck thing. They are cute, I get that part but dear Lord, they are also dumb as a stump. At least the ones I had were. I had the white Pekin and Rouen. Did I just end up with defective ducks???

no it's eyes are.shutok, good. Are you able to look at the eye?
Quote: Yes, are you able to open its eyes with your hands and look at it, or have your parents help? Like they would do for you if your eye was giving you problems.

Good luck with the rest of the hatch!!!! Welcome over!!Morning all-
What was supposed to be my Easter HAL eggs but I had to wait to set them until the Tuesday following are now hatching. Yesterday noonish I had a pip on a silkie and hona. Last night- still no one out. This morning I have my silkie out, hona out, easter egger out, MFL, Isabelle. There is a pip in a couple others this morning. Incubator hit 42% so I had to fill the water through a plastic pipe I rigged so I don't have to open the door. Today is 21.
The other eggs are due the weekend of April 8th. They are a variety of eggs from my various houses here on the farm. so, I will candle them again once this hatch is over because they are all in the same incubator.oh Go
Hopefully everyone is doing well with their eggs & incubation.
Can I still get in.
I have turkeys that should hatch on the 8th.
12 welsummer eggs on the 15th.
Another round of turkey eggs on the 22nd.
I am also saving eggs to set on the 7th for Cinco de Mayo hal.
And will set turkey eggs every Thurs thru April and may.

was gonna ask how he is!!! oh dang!!!! tendons!! I pray he can too!!! goodness that was a good one!!Man, my husband really did a number on his finger. Has to go see a specialist with 3 to 4 days from when he did this. He's going in tomorrow. He evidently cut a tendon. He did cut it pretty deep. Couldn't believe what I was looking at when the Dr. opened it to inspect it. Now, it will be reopened, and hopefully the specialist can help him to be able to move it right again.
