to see if they are pasted shut from hatch or to see if it has infection in them CH
try the warm water on a qtip and keep it damp warm for a bit before you try to open his eyes, dont force them keep up with the qtips warm water until you can open them

there is no puss or anything they open fine.I'm wondering since he is tall if he burnt them on the heating element

Look to see what it looks like, if you can see anything in it. Is the eye red, clear, looking normal. Just be as gentle as you can.

Man, my husband really did a number on his finger. Has to go see a specialist with 3 to 4 days from when he did this. He's going in tomorrow. He evidently cut a tendon. He did cut it pretty deep. Couldn't believe what I was looking at when the Dr. opened it to inspect it. Now, it will be reopened, and hopefully the specialist can help him to be able to move it right again.

Oh no. I hope his recovery goes well!

no,they won't open at all.I'm surprised I came to check on him.and he was eating and drinking with the other one.even though both eyes are shut
