"Springing in the Chicks" 2016 April Hatch-a-Long Hosted by Mike & Sally

Yes, we need to work on the contest. I try to at least throw a towel on them as they run by. I also try to keep them in my office so only need to keep cleaning one floor. Yes, you need to dance in the warm rain.

At least lately they've gotten some rain out that way and some good snows in the mountains. You don't want to lose fruit trees. would take a while to reestablish.

That's what I was thinking.
When I had my Dom eggs shipped to me for the EHAL that's how I asked the lady to do it. Collect over the weekend so they are fresh and mail out monday.

That's crazy. I was born in Placerville. Still have family out in that area in Avery, Placerville, Murphy's and Truckee.

Small world! I'm just off interstate 80. Several BYC folks are in this area

We go to Apple Hill every year as an anniversary trip. Only on the week days thought it's far too crowded otherwise.

Sally, I also have to try to ship eggs following the updated shipping instructions Chaos worked on. It says shipping on Saturday is ok, or should I collect over the weekend and ship Monday? This is going to be good.
Saturday is fine, Monday works too. Whatever works for you as I think this batch needs to go out dont they?

Quote: Wow I dont know if I could live with that threat, unless I had a cheap replaceable home!

Quote: sweet!! you hunt them?

I'm hopeful that this year will be better. The trees are just in prime so my goal is to keep them alive. We pay for irrigation water here. Last year believe it or not was the most consistent water we've had in the 15 years we've been here. Weird
