"Springing in the Chicks" 2016 April Hatch-a-Long Hosted by Mike & Sally

Will have to check my hamster egg collection to see if any are "feathered". I don't have a smoker either but I still know

I hope you have the feathered variety!

Nobody else here seems to have them. I guess I should enter my penguin eggs in the hatchalong, too... I just set 3 of them!!!

Yes it does make good smoker wood. It's always cheaper to get the tree guys to just drop them and than clean up the mess yourself.
We had a guy come out for a quote to drop a tree. Long story short they quoted us $500 to just drop the tree and my husband promptly told them to go away. Yes, he carries insurance, but the tree work would have taken him about an hour, tops. Luckily, my BIL is capable just has to find the time.

I suppose I was lucky. These guys brought a bucket truck, a crew of 5, and cut several small and a couple of large limbs. The charge? $250... plus any tip since all of it is going to ministries. I padded the check just a little...

It's dependent upon size of tree, location of tree, is it close to buildings. Lots of things can influence it but that does seem a bit steep.

I suppose I should check my tackle... looks like I need to do some serious fishing!!!

Who doesn't need to do some serious fishing?
