2 of my broody turkeys have started hatching.

I had 3. 2 were sharing a nest. 1 had her own nest.

There were 20 eggs between them.

So far I have seen 9 poults.

But they are temperamental moms won't let me get to close.

Phone won't let me upload pics today. But when it does I'll post some.

This should about finish up what eggs got started april.


The hens seem to be doing better than I am hatching.

Too bad I can't speak turkey for some tips.

Wow!!! Congratulations!!! How many of those 20 should be hatching now? How far behind is broody #3? I had 2 broody silkies that shared a nest the first time. They have both gone broody again, but refuse to share this time.

They should all be hatching.

I was collecting eggs and they all went broody at the same time so I increased there eggs to 10 each. So hatch could be synchronized.

From what I saw baby wise.
4 palms.
3 chocolates.
1 tri mottled
1 bourbon red.

I didn't give the breed specific eggs so not sure what else could hatch.

3 broodys down. 7 more to go
