Where did you get the Brabanters? And I saw in you signature you have Pavs. I am searching for those too.
Best luck on your hatch. I can't wait to read about it and see pic!
Sorry I didn't reply sooner. My original 3 Brabanters are from a woman here in NYS that was selling all her birds. She got her stock from H&H Poultry. My recent hatch was 5 Pavlovskaya and 1 Cream Brabanter from simonerol in the BST forum here on BYC. My MacGyberBator has 5 Brabanter eggs left from H&H Poultry. This is my second try of eggs shipped from her and my third try hatching eggs shipped from TX to NY and it's not something I recommend. If you're closer to TX, then their birds are worth it. My next set is coming from AL. There is an American Brabanter page on Facebook which is working on developing SOP. There is also a shared Spitzhauben/Brabanter page here on BYC.
For Pavlovskaya, GFF has great lines and I think that's where simonerol got her original stock from.
Here's a pic of the mohawks on the one Brabanter and 2 of the Pavlovskaya hatched 2/27:

Good morning!! Candled eggs today. I had 7 oegb eggs, 3 didnt form and still clear and one early quiter(im guessing from my eggtopsy). There were 6 mixed games and 1 was clear but had a scrambled yolk it almost busted opening it. So down to 9 from 13. All the remaining eggs look like they are on track. They did have 2 i questioned but put back. They seemed to be a little different.

I am located in Texas and have spoke with H&H so that is great to know you recommend her too! I am also located close to Ideal Poultry, where it seems a lot of people have started from too. I LOVE my little Mohawkers, that is what I lovingly call them. I on the Spitzhauben/Bra page here and am hoping to add to my flock. Thanks for the info. I am added photos of my Brabanters on the S/B page soon!

Good luck on your eggs. I will be watching closely.

So today I am sanitizing the incubator and getting it prepped so I can make sure temp/humidity is all set for Saturday.

How do I calibrate the temp/hygro? This was my problem 3 years ago and out of the six dozen eggs I set I hatched one pretty little we roo
