"Springing in the Chicks" 2016 April Hatch-a-Long Hosted by Mike & Sally

She does! I got some Project level hatching eggs from her. Choc/choc split and Lav/lav split.

You could make Lav Wheatens with your wheaten boy and you lav girls.
I was wondering if a few of my chicks were. I have sold or given all of them away. I really want to keep some to see how they feather out. I have one chick I kept from my yellow Araucana from Awesome Araucanas and the Blue Wheaten Roo in the pic. Still really young but rumpless and yellow like mom. No ear tufts but has dads muffs. I just couldn't let go of that one. Momma was the first baby I ever hatched out and she is my pet. She is just the smartest bird and dad will fly up to my bedroom window to beg for treats for his girls. Not one bit of aggression in him. So I am hoping to see their personalities in their baby.

I live in Hayden and work at Sacred Heart. I lost my last hatch and the breeder is going to send me more eggs next week. I would take more but this bator only holds 21 eggs and she'll probably send me around 20. I appreciate the offer though :)
No problem. Just wanted to share! I love my girls. They give me gorgeous babies.
What is the name of the coloring of that baby in the first pic?

You would need multiple generations to get lav wheatens. Since the lav is recessive. There's another person working on it around here somewhere.......

That's really cool. I was curious about the chick in my first chick pic. It was also out of my Araucana and Blue Wheaten Roo. Unfortunately it passed away. I really wanted to see how it would feather out.

I don't know. I really wanted to find out. Mom is a Yellow Araucana and dad is a Blue Wheaten. Baby died due to diarrhea. I just couldn't keep it under control. I was keeping that baby.

I am not NPIP though I want to be eventually so I don't think I can ship. I am over in Spokane Valley. If you were over here for some reason, I could give you some eggs. I hate wasting good hatching eggs.
