Day 19. Just now had one external pip and one internal pip. First time trying to hatch eggs so I super nervous that even now I could lose them all. 14 shipped eggs and only 6 made it to lockdown. I'm so nervous : (

Why would ya do a silly thing like that? These won't be keepers for me......well maybe a couple will be but to be able to incubate and do the experiment I'll probably have to tell the wife I'll sell the chicks.

I have two broodies sitting on eggs. One is sitting on my Svart Hona/Phoenix cross eggs (due to hatch next week sometime, i believe). The other is sitting on my Americana/Phoenix cross and BBR Phoenix eggs ( she just started sitting).

Im going to put all my eggs in my new incubator tomorrow!!!!

I ended up buying 7 Blue Partridge Brahma Eggs from one of you BYC'ers. And I saved 10 Black Copper and Blue Copper Marans eggs from my flock, and 4 Ohiki Bantam eggs from my breeding pair. These numbers of eggs might change depending on if I get any more eggs that are worth saving tomorrow.
