DH snapped this picture when I took the babies out for some yard time.

We just got our very first chicks at the end of March! 2 RIR(Birdie, & Belle) & 1 EE(Blue)...unfortunately even though they were all sexed as pullets, at 6 weeks Blue started crowing!

Luckily we found him a great home with a neighbor who has lots of land and chickens! My Husband and I are just loving this experience! I also wanted to say that this website has been so awesome, and we are so thankful for it! It has taught us practically everything about chickens, and also how to build an awesome coop! Last week we got 2 Black Sex Link chicks!(Evie & Ellie) to add to our crew!

Thanks! Lol! No!! It was my Grandma's skillet, we thought it would make a cute pic! I hope to eventually fry up some eggs in it though!
