Sprouting Bean Sprouts

I was wondering if anyone else sprouts their own bean sprouts..

Ive had great results from spouting lentil beans, and my girls just snap them up.
Im going to try sprouting barley next..I hear thats high in protein as well.

Hello and welcome to BYC

I haven't sprouted beans for my girls, but I should give them some sprouts at some point. I heard it's great food for them. Just waiting for the temperatures to go up a fraction first. I think at the moment even the most enthusiastic seed will laugh at me for trying LOL Alfalfa and wild bird seed mixes are also great for sprouting.

I sprout them indoors in mason(canning) jars.
The house is kept cool , but they sprout anyway.

Welcome from Southern California! I bought this nifty triple-sprouting tray and sprout seeds but have yet to try 'em out, but I will now that you reminded me! I plan to grow sprouts for both the humans and the girls.
