spur development

When do Roos develop their spurs? I am VERY new to this chicken business!

Not until about 6-8 months and they don't usually get any real length till the bird is over a year old.

Hen are able to develop spurs all so..

it that ture that some hen have spurs? i have a 2 1/2 weeks old and i have one that looks like it could develop spurs it is just a kob right now
