Spur on pullet? Don't say roo!

*sigh* I sadly know.....

But I'm still going to lie to myself a bit longer since it has a cool toe. I can't keep Roosters where I hail from, unfortunately.

A bit disappointing since these 4 "pullets" are, ummmmm, not pullets....

The only for sure cockerel I see is the light brahma. Your barred Rock is a pullet. They all look like they are just flushed in the face and around the base of the comb. The combs themselves are still yellow. I'd hang on to all of them a few more weeks.
 
I agree. I think it's a cockerel. I'm absolute fascinated by those extra toes... I've never seen anything like it before. It's normal for some breeds to have 5 toes on each foot, but the extra toes are on the back of the foot. I've never seen an extra toe growing on one of the front toes like that. He's really unusual!

All chickens have Spurs. Hens are generally smaller, and Roos are generally bigger and pointing up. If it's a roo, it will be very mean.
