that is possible but based on the behavior that was described she sounds more broody. If she is spending most of the day in the box and/or sleeping in the box as well as being extreemly vocal when you shoo her out she is more likely broody and broody birds don't lay. An egg bound bird will often stand away from the others, looks puffed up, waddles almost like they are bow legged when they walk.
Also when a birds surroundings are changed it is stressful for them and they may not lay for a period of time until they are comfy again.
