Squirrel hanging around the yard

Hi, I've got a little squirrel hanging around my house/yard. It looks young or weak. Maybe it's just got heat stroke. Is there any threat to my chickens who are wandering around the yard too? Squirrel has been drinking from a waterer I have in the yard.

I don't know of any diseases or issues really, except that they can carry lice or mites. Ours hang out with them daily under the bird feeders for years just fine. We have DE in the coop so if they drug mites back into the coop with them, they'd die.
