My 3 month month old chicken Pudgy has started having liquid poops. It's crazy, like a water gun or something!! The poops are normal colored and Pudgy's totally healthy as far as we can see. Is this just a normal chicken thing, or do we need to get some supplements or medicine? We're not sure if Pudgy's a roo or hen.

It could be that your chicken has drunk a lot of water because of the heat or thirst. That can cause watery stools. In very hot weather, it doesn't hurt to give some vitamins and electrolytes in the water. Products such as Avian Super Pack and others are easily found in farm stores and online. Rooster Booster sells one that TSC carries for chickens, that also contains a probiotic. I would use that 3 days a week. If pudgy starts looking lethargic or hunched, and slows down eating, he might be developing coccidiosis. Diarrhea, sometimes with blood is also a symptom. It is treated with Corid (amprollium.)
