Squishy Crop

Shaking almost like he was cold. I have him in a crate now with a heat lamp. Today it’s doughy. He wants to eat, so I feel like that’s at least one good sign. My next step is treating with corid because I have two hens this morning hunched up. Their crops are empty and they don’t want to eat. I have never had adults show signs of coccidia until now, and that’s the last thing I can think of since they’ve been dewormed. I’ve also been spraying my coop for mites/fly prevention because the flies have been awful this year. So no fly strike or mites.
I agree, I'd treat with the Corid and see if that helps.

If the crop is now doughy, give him a stool softener in addition to the miconazole 2x a day. See if that helps break it up.

The shaking is concerning, is he still doing that?

He only does it if he’s lifting his head to move his neck around. You can tell he is irritated by it. His crop feels like it’s literally full of Little Rock’s or sand, which is likely because they have sand in the run. He’s currently being kept in a crate on a puppy pad though- no loose substrate. My poor guy. He really is the same sweet rooster with and appetite and all. I feel bad because his crop won’t empty and he is hungry. I’ve tried yogurt and eggs. His crop has just been so bad.
