~STABLE CHICKENS: WHAT BREED???~

I have had these two chickens for almost a year, since they were babies.

I have never really known what breed they are....

They may be mixes????? I don't know?????

I got them from my stables where there are many chickens around.

I would love any help on what you think they may be. Here are their pictures....

My hen, Ebony.

My rooster, Ibony.

Any help will be appreciated.

the white one looks to be leghorn and the dark looks to have some cornish in it...right head and thick legs

I'm not sure what breeds they are but they both have scaley legs with is caused by an microscopic mite. Search on the site for treatment for it.

I thought the roo was Leghorn too at first glance, then noticed he didn't have white earlobes. Maybe a Leghorn cross, though. The hen I have no guess on.

Yes, I'm seeing scaly leg mites too.

And I think the hen might be part dark cornish. The roo looks leghorn-ish, except for the red earlobe. He's probably a cross too.

Do you get many eggs from her?

Hen looks to be a Black Australorp I think... Could be wrong though. Maybe some dark cornish in her, too...
Not sure on the roo, looks like there's some leghorn in him...
