STAGGERED HATCH HELP... PLEASE!

So, I have some eggs in my incubator. I have BLRW that I started on Sunday of last week, and seramas that i started on last wednesday, and then more BLRW that i started last thursday. And i =m not too sure what to do.

You can either raise your humidity to the absolute minimal amount required for lockdown and pray, or you can make/buy a second incubator specifically for lockdown. I would go with option #2.

so Wednesday, Thursday and then Sunday same week? I'd stick with your usual
humidity for the first two hatches, it will spike when they hatch anyway. Sunday's hatch shouldn't matter, cause they aren't hatching yet. Just don't mess up the temperature. You're going to have to keep them all in there though...maybe a cheep or borrowed incubator would be less of a stress. Good luck!

I do staggered hatches all the time. I incubate in my cabinet bator and then move the eggs at lockdown to one of my smaller bators, right now they are in my brinsea but I have also used my nurture rite 360 with success. It is easier to clean my smaller bators, and my cabinet will hold more eggs.

Nah, i have one more incubator that is due to hatch the Thursday before the sunday that starts this hatch... and i dont know anyone else with incubators.

LOL!!! I hope you didn't plan it like that and just got over zealous setting eggs. I'm afraid you might just have to choose which the ones you really want, like all of them probably.

Can you split them into containers inside the incubator? Like a tupperware container (with holes, obvi), that would give each batch a micro-climate within the larger incubator?
