Stan had far-reaching effects on people. Even my kids know about Stan. He was a lovely boy. I have ordered a BJG rooster in my chick order for the end of January, my son's request and I hope he will be as sweet as Stan.

I actually cried for a good while, as I looked at his pictures from older threads. Despite the fact he was not mine, I felt as though I was just as much a part of his life as you were. I miss him so much.

I'm so sorry "theoldchick". Stan had a wonderful "food lady", and he was tough and beautiful rooster.
Even though his wattles will never sway again, they will always sway, here on BYC. We'll all miss him.

oh no! I have tears in my eyes. I cannot believe Stan the Man has left us. He will be forever missed by his ladies and his BYC family and of course his loving mother.

Since there was no evidence of an attack, do
you think it's possible that he just escaped and wandered off? He may return if that is the case.

This must be extremely difficult to deal with right now. Know that if Stan the Man has gone home, he is truly in a better, although he must miss you and his ladies.

You brought Stan to life for all of us, his loyal fans. You depicted his antics marvelously and made it's love The Man as if he were our own beloved rooster. His legacy lives on in BYC.

When I buy my hobby farm, I am going to get a JG roo and call him Stanley After The Man. That is if you don't mind, of course.
