Standlee Flock Fresh

I have been searching for quite a while and have found 1 review saying it's dusty, but no reviews saying it will hurt chicks. Anybody on this thread have an opinion about the chicks and the zeolite?
The dust could come from any of it's ingredients.
Any broody raised chicks will be exposed to all kinds of 'dust'.
I've used zeolite mixed with sand as brooder bedding with no apparent ill effects.

I much prefer Coop clean over flock fresh The Coop clean with the pdz keeps the ammonia down and has no odor what I have noticed about the flock fresh if it is raining or humid it has a horrible smell and since I just cleaned both coops out and used it for the first time it hasn't been in there long enough for it to be a chicken smell. I absolutely cannot stand to be in there the smell is so acid strong. Coop clean is only 15 .99 at Claremore at Stillwater Mills which is about $3 higher than the float fresh but OMG it's worth it

That's flock fresh not float fresh

I would like to know your opinion of it too. I'm thinking of trying it in our coop, in place of pine (not phone) shavings. :lau
Also you can use regular large pine shavings or small finer Pine shavings and buy a bag of pdz in the horse section which is the same thing that is in Coop clean and it's much cheaper to do it this way and then just sprinkle it in with your Pine shavings it works wonderfully well

Just purchased Standlee Flock Fresh at TSC the other day. Didn't even know they were carrying it! I have been using Koop Klean which costs $18.99 at my feed store. I really like it, even though it is expensive. It has been so much easier cleaning out my 8 by 8 coop in he spring, because it is lighter than wood shavings & doesn't mat down. Well the Standlee is $13.99 & I like it just as well or even better! I have a lot of bedding in my coop this winter, as we have had 12 different snow falls & a lot of rain & they just keep tracking in wetness. I dumped about 20 pounds of Sweet PDZ in about 2 weeks ago & then a bale of Standlee straw & still needed more. Popped in a bale of the Flock Fresh Friday & everything is smelling great. Someone had said it was dusty, well it is a bit because of the zeolite, but it is great at drying up the coop! I really like it.
