Starlight Gender

Just wondering if anyone had some experience with starlight growth. I know they are a newer mix, so I haven't been able to find much in the ways of pullet vs cockerel development. We had 2 and one whose behavior alone and large comb screamed cockerel. I exchanged it as I cannot have another rooster. Now the other one I have is also getting a little pinkish in the comb/wattle. It's still nit nearly the thickness or size of the other one I returned but it is pink enough to make me question. Any thoughts would ve appreciated. Age is 4 ish weeks I think.

Just thought I would update everyone. We are now at 17 weeks and definitely looking like a hen woohoo!!!

We just got our first egg from our starlight! She is roughly 21 weeks now. We are so excited!

Thanks for the reply! How interesting. I was thinking it might be the case since they are crossed from leghorns I feel like there is at least a chance they are a little faster developing

I posted pics of mine on a Facebook page as well and everyone said hen and that they are most likely crossed with a breed that develops fast. Or something along those lines. So could still be a hen. I’ll let you know if mine ended up crowing first. she is about 9 weeks now. So a little bit ahead of you....

Still thinking they are hens. I think they would have some saddle feathers starting to grow by now. But I’m no expert.
