oooook here goes
i have got a rooster nearly a month now. everyone is good now together and seem to get along.
i knoticed one of my barred rocks laying by its self under coop. i went in later and everyone seemed all ok again. i feed my 8week chicks noticed that nasty watery brown pudding looking poo. which befor was the dawn if chicken sickness.
fed the big kids that are going on 15-16weeks and notice the same, i have also seen some huge poo just could never see who was doing it.. last two days theres been this horrable smell something between dead and spoild. i heard some strange clucking that is not the normal bed song. it was not a cluck cluck biggock! but there was a cluck in it.
i gave CORID to the entire flock its been a long time since ive seen the nasty poo so figured i had coccciooooo lol i cant spell it. anyway this morning when i let big kids out i noticed one that soin as came out layed on the ground. roo came up picked her head she tried taking off but was all wably unable to stand loosing ballance chest down head level with back wings down some like trying to ballance . i picked her up looked her over not sure what im looking for really but no bumbles on feet. not much in the crop. i looked at vent seemed normal no poo caked. she really fought the holding her thing which none of them usually like it but dont fight much after i have them. after putting her down she went staggering to under coop layed down roo came up as i watch and mates.. so i know its a hen! i walk up slowly this time she offers no attempt to run. i place her in coop with water and food. ill be gone most all day so i hope she is better by time i get back. anyone think at 15-16weeks hen could be laying for first time? or sick????? pkz hlp
