this is were we are as of 10 minutes ago.

If you can see there in the front on the left side where it sticks out a bit, we are putting like a porch, with gables the chcikens can perch on it but it will be mostly for looks. lol like the front of a playhouse.

I have now, about 20 chickens and 4 guineas. I am awaiting 3 mystery chicks on the 24th, and about 8 silkie chicks and hopefully a couple polish. all to be hatched by the 28th. I will be finding homes for some of my girls and my guineas in the spring. So I don't get over crowded lol. the chickens i have now are cochin banties, RIR, EE's, and 2 cochin banty silkie or polish cross really not sure what they are. they look like cochin banties but with tuffs on top of their head but not real big like polish!

lighthawk !!!!!!!
i think you misunderstood what i ment abought the dryer vent ..i was refering to the hot air in the house, by useing a dryer vent with a little fan in frount of it. a dryer vent has fins on it that open and close when air is passed through it..

i whould never use my dryer to heat my coop!!!!!!!

Hate to be a "Debbie-Downer", but I'm pretty sure if your homeowners insurance were to find out your coop is basically "attached" to your home, you'd be canceled. You may want to reconsider. Cool coop, but I agree with "BOSSROO"...posted earlier on here.
