Hi, I live in MN. 2 weeks ago I bought 2 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes named Darla and Bessie and within the week ordered 8 little ones from My Pet Chicken (decided to do a variety so now have 9 different kinds named Olive, Mara, Maisie, Lexie, April, June, Jo Jo, and Ruby). We already have 3 dogs and a cat, I'm finding out as each human kid leaves the nest an animal takes its place. I don't even have a coop yet, just keeping them in a box indoors with a red lamp and outdoors in a rabbit cage with nice weather for now. My husband doesn't know this but today I went out and got Ava and Hannah, even I know that's my limit. My first question for everyone today is, my Buff Brahma June is very light in color, she sure doesn't look like baby Brahmas. Maybe she's a Buff Orpington? Attached is her photo. Nice to meet everyone.
