2) Rhode Island Reds
3) Buff orphingtons
4) Black australops
5) Lavendar aracauna
6) English Red Orpington
7) English chocolate orphingtons
The following are marans
8) Blue copper
9) Blue Splash copper
10) Black Copper
11) Golden cuckoo
12) Cuckoo
13) and just for the fun of multi colored
Eggs the Easter egger
BYC pops up a lot when I do research and I figured I'd join cause I'm still in the process of learning. It started to be just a hobby but it's turned into a small business. I love meeting new people when I'm selling. Raising this many is a lot of work but it is so enjoyable.
I was a LPN for many years but had to retire early after having both knees replaced. I was so bored and missed taking care of my patients. Now I'm back to taking care of my flock and I'm as obsessed with it as much as I was with my nursing career. They need me to care for them so my flock are my patients now.
I was blessed July 2016 to marry my childhood sweetheart. He is the most wonderful supportive husband in the world. He's my constructed on all the things I need built, he's my backwoods vet and my biggest supporter in my quest to make s successful business. I'm the mother of 4 grown children and the adoptive mother of my 5 year old grandson. I also have 2 other beautiful grandsons.
The above is me in a nutshell. Just a wife, mother and a woman with a dream of having a successful chicken business.
I hope to learn a lot from you all and know I will enjoy the conversation.
God Bless
Vicky
