Starting Over

Newbie here. I am so glad I found this site. Up until 2 weeks ago I had a beautiful flock of 6 Americanas. I out to feed my horses and found all but 4 of my chickens in parts. I thought I had pen secured and whatever killed the first night came back to finish the job, so now I am relocating coop closer to house and making it more secure with automatic door. I will post pictures during progress. I guess the coyotes finally got the job done. I have had my goats attacked 4 times and had to relocate in pens next to horses so guess my l'il girls will now truly be backyard chickens. I am a very sad non chicken person.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I had a similar situation 2 summers ago loosing all 4 of my Rhodies to a raccoon or skunk.
