Starting the 9th month and still no eggs!

I have 15 that I received this spring and they are going on 8 months old and still no eggs from them.

I have had five others from that group start laying so I have had a couple dozen eggs to sale.

Oh, man, I was worried that mine weren't going to lay, I feel for you!!!!!
The RIR are hard to determine, I have three I haven't figured out what they are yet, waiting for them to start crowing

I think it might be that they are slow maturing breeds. Or something might be wrong in their genes. unless they are all roosters

But surely out of 27 pulets not all late bloomers. My spring pullets 5 G-S links 1 Dom. started at 4.5 to 5 months all within a couple of weeks of the other. Still not consistent yet but they're getting better. I've had some start late at 7 to 8 mos. before but they were some Xbreed experiment i was trying so I dropped that idea.The only other time they will wait to lay is if you don't get them early enough to start before short, cold winter days. Alot of the time they won't start until next laying seaon. but these guys are plenty old enough. got me bumfuzzled.
