starved horses up for adoption

Wow! We want a horse but are not ready. No fence or barn built only the land. Was thinking in 2 years or more before we were.
This is less than 10 hours away. I wish I was in a position to help.

We have a humane society if you can call it one... they euthize after 5 days any stray that is turned over.... We also live out in the country and on a not so small street but people will still dump their animals expecting people like me to be too kind hearted and take them in....

Wish I could give some good horses a home. Sadly, we dont have that kind of money or facilities, nor land. I hope they find a good home.

Gosh do I want one... But they're far away and not too long ago, 100 arabians were rescued down here, in much the same condition.
These stories make me sad.

Any update on whether or not they're going to prosecute this neglectful owner or WHY he neglected them?
