State Block Swap

ok here is my block, I have the 5 done and will now have to wait till Tuesday before I can get a chance to start on the "B" block, went so fast, I made the blocks all at the same time, meaning did all of step one, then did all of the next step so I only had to read and figure out the directions once. If ya know what I mean. I went with cream instead of white and I was worried it would not come out correctly, but it did. This I have to admit looked much harder than it actually is, Rustyhen I know exactly where you had to use your seam ripper, got me 3 times before I figured it out.

You were much braver than I was in your fabric, I had a cream picked out instead of the bright white again I chickened (ha ha) out. Now I love your grey tone fabric!
When I get the rest of my state blocks done I'll be ready to try block #2 maybe****

I almost chickened out but I kept asking the girl if it would work, she said yes it would, all I could think of is if it didn't all that work for nothing, and it is actually a light shade of tan swirls with gold specks in it. Yep least I'm caught up, so now to finish the State blocks and then on to "B" block. I really thinking of doing this in blue and purple, I really like the way the first blocks went together so hopefully the second block will be just as nice.

Haven't started my state blocks yet! Will have to get a move on....
Have been making friends with my seam ripper but am now making good progress with the LW quilt, will try and post some photos tomorrow.
What colours are people doing their state blocks?

I started out with blue and gold. The colors of the Oregon state flag, then I added greens and rose colors.
