I use baby shampoo (no more tears), so it doesn't hurt their eyes. I would also check on your birds daily. The big problem we used to have here is the birds getting dehydrated or too hot. Make sure they have clean water at all times. I used to volunteer at the fair, giving water & fresh pine shavings to all the birds. That was back in the day, though. If a chicken starts to get overheated, you have to hose it down with cool water ASAP.

Many exhibitors keep cage cups inside with food and water.

I'll keep an eye out for them! The poultry and livestock is the best part of the fair!!
