our farmers market in jackson,ms is modeled after the ala. it's mon- sat but they don't allow live animal sales. so i'd call.

no they don't. it's produce, vegs, and crafts

That's ok....it's not like I really need anymore chickens anyway...but if we only got what we needed, we wouldn't have most of the stuff we have! If she is still around, great, if someone else buys her before then, no problem. My feed store is getting asst cochin bantams in in May, so I can get some from them then. But you all have to help me find homes for the roosters I get stuck with buying straight run! lol I really wish they would sex bantams. I know mypetchicken does, but they don't carry the regular cochin bantams, only the frizzles. You know, if someone ever figures out how to control the sex of chicks hatched, they will be a millionaire.
