Four chickens won't make that much poop. I use a poop board with sweet PDZ and scoop/dump daily. I've never noticed an odor. I have 6 hens.

I wouldn't out of my way to find Dumor brand feed....it's just Tractor Supply's brand name....nothing special. I think what makes the eggs better tasting is free ranging....all those bugs, worms and greens make for tasty eggs and nice, deep yellow yolks.

Thank you so much! I do not have a Tractor Supply near me, only Southern States and my work Homestead Gardens. I am looking forward to letting them out, but i am going to attempt to Hawk proof the yard first. Getting closer, but the waiting is the hardest part.

Hey nab58, what is sweet PDZ? I have found 2 more locations to buy chicken stuff... A general store and a Farmer's Co Op. Still confused as to which feed is best and no one seems to know anything about Manna Pro products which are readily available in my area.
