Well, not you personally, you know, the rest of MO!

If you are not planning on eating it why is gluten free important? Does look like it would be fun to play with.
Because if you are extremely sensitive to gluten you can't even play with play-doh which is wheat based. I have a friend whose 8 year old daughter is so sensitive to gluten even if she doesn't eat at a church pot-luck she gets sick the next day just from touching things that people have touched after eating gluten (tables, chairs, counters, etc). Their whole family eats gluten free since several members have gluten intolerance, and she tells her hubby if he wants something gluten to eat it at work. But she's a fantastic cook so they eat well still!

Thanks!

I'd like to join and chat. I'm finding it hard to figure out how to get people to chat with me on this site. Any advice Stella?

Welcome!
While I agree on the battery hens conditions, people would be more horrified if they saw the conditions their meat lives in. That is why I have my own chickens and purchase my meat from local farmers/friends.

Another revolutionary compound.
But why?

Reading about celiac (sp) is so facinating. I have been studying cooking in resteraunt (not doing it!) And it is like the cooks nuclear bonds they freak out cleaning over it. Still not enough for someone like your friends daughter however.

It is great they caught it so she does not suffer!

Good morning all! We are getting the rain we so need! Not happy about the 45 mile/hr winds projected to go along with it for the next three days however. I have to head to the hardware store to get something to secure the tarps on the fronts of the coops so they don't get beat up in the wind.

I will probably stay in for three days, cooking and blogging about it.

Edited: I removed the part of this post about the Suave promotion on my blog. They realized they mad a mistake and mine wasn't due to launch quite yet. Good grief!

Yikes, I just realized today my post is due for the Ina Friday group I am in. We post an Ina Garten recipe the first Friday of every month. This month it's main courses. I think I am going to make her bleu cheese burger, maybe for lunch so I can get my post done. Then we'll have cereal for dinner.
