Stella's Social Club

I've been somewhat ill the last couple of days. I went to make some chicken noodle soup and went to retrieve the saltine crackers.Instead of the brand I expected there was a cheaper generic brand. I asked my wife what happened to the good crackers, she said Delaney wouldn't eat the generics so she swapped the crackers. Here is Delaney, who apparently controls cracker distribution in our house.

Only the good crackers for the goat. You get the rejects.

Kelly you could always "reprimand" Mary by telling her - all her new chicks are cockerels. Geez it's been so long I forgot what baby emus look like.
I am tempted. But if I can't sell them, I have no where to raise them safely. If the males don't hatch raise them, they can't be introduced to the others until they are quite large and then only after being in fenced off proximity to each other for a long time.

I am fighting the emotional appeal of cute baby emus with the reality of additional adult emus. There are space and feed requirements that I am not sure I should take on at this stage of my life. Adult emus are notoriously difficult to re-home and, if successful, they are it is usually for the meat and oil.

Okay - I understand now . I really thought tho after all the emu years you would have come up with mini or bantam emus that everyone could fit in their yard. Or fainting emus - so they'd be easier to catch.

Ya know I think Kelly should try and hatch your emu eggs - I think she really wants to.
