Mary has Tucker seen the new Rooster yet? I'm wondering what his first impression was like.

I have so many rusted out, old thingies around the house and garage - that my dad kept, - all I ever think when I come across some is "uh tetanus." No thanks. I was just thinking if we all crammed our rusty, old icky things in a flat rate postage box - it wouldn't cost much at all to dump, err gift Mary.

What's not to like - spring cleaning and gifting Mary at the same time? If I get brave enough to go back in the garage and basement - I'll see what's there.

Your mom was really beautiful and yes, the old cameras were so much kinder to their subjects. I like the soft focus look. I don't appreciate digital cameras that make every pore look like a volcanic crater- yuck!!

I clean things up pretty well before using them. I take rust remover to anything that I might eat food off. Usually the portion I photograph is mine anyway because it's cold by the time we eat. It's not like I'm trying to kill Michael.

Tucker has seen the new rooster and he seem fine with it. I don't know if he'll lay down with the hen anymore with that mangy rooster towering overhead.

I now have a 3rd broody, a repeat welsummer broody. Her butt is going to get moved to the barnevelder coop. (it's a total pain to have chicks in my welsummer coop) If she wants to brood, she'll have to do it there. We'll see if the move breaks her.
