Wish me luck. The flail mower guy arrives shortly and I'll be herding goats, donkeys, and emus from pasture to pasture so he can work. Yikes. Four emu with a combined height of 24 feet, running at 40 MPH. I can do this. I can do this. I can do this.

The goats should be easy. They'll faint when they see guy and I can drag them. Maybe not. They've gotten really big since I last dragged them. And I've gotten very toddery. If that's a word. Is that a word Diva?

Michael locked the donkeys in the corral last night so all I have to do there is get in to feed them without them getting out. That little Diana is pure evil you know. Actually she was lovin' and huggin' all over the mower guy when he was here to look at the job. I thought she was going home with him.

I'll be out there giving it my best while trying to shoot video of the mayhem!

Mary - your creepy gopher video reminded me of my gopher issues. The bugger got into my raised bed and pulled down 2 of my tomato plants. I blocked where it got in and set the trap. No more gopher now.

The big move is over. Now he just has the big pasture to mow in peace without freaking out animals. The fighting amongst the emus got pretty brutal and Stuart got shoved into a fence and broke a section. We had to move him back down with the guy mowing. I just checked them after he got out of the goat/emu pastures. It looks like Chica suffered a wing wound. Feathers are missing and it is hanging down. Good thing they don't need those wings to fly.

I'll be back with some video later.
