Good one Mary!

Well, I confessed to the hubby that we now have turkeys. (he got back yesterday from a business trip) His only comment was "I'm not building you another coop". I told him they are in with the chickens. (for now - heee heee)

Hatched four cream legbars today, one boy, two girls and a white.

I made Buddy his favorite New England Boiled dinner tonight. You dump the whole mess right onto the table on butcher paper and dig in. I put in king crab legs, andouille sausage, potatoes, corn, onions, cod, and white prawns. All seasoned with Old Bay. Served with cocktail sauce, sourdough bread and clarified butter. Oh my. I made a key lime pie for dessert. I love having a foodie grandson!

I hope everyone is enjoying this thread. I know I am and Stella seems to like it too! It just didn't seem as comfortable posting personal stuff on the Icelandic thread of late.

Mary, I love the little chick looking straight at the camera. That's a keeper.

I don't think Buddy will be able to eat all of that. Does everyone just dig in and take what they want?

Everyone digs in. No plates or utensils. Just eat right off the butcher paper.Butter and cocktail sauce is usually served in bottles and everyone just squirts the butter right on the seafood. It really is fun.

The little guy looking at the camera is a boy so yes, he is a keeper.I am going to keep the best two roos.
