Looks delicious!!! I have never had it with fingernail garnish but am willing to try new things!!!

Picture looks good Mary, no signs of blood - whew!! Mary do us all a favor, put knives back in cardboard sleeves, then into box and call UPS to take them back. Too bloody dangerous for anyone to handle. Or to tell us about, I faint easily just hearing about blood.

I feel like you need to call in the chopper from M>A>S>H and have them rush you to Hawkeye and Hot Lips.

Dinner: Turkey Pot Pie. I made turkey breast a couple of days ago and used the last of it tonight to make this pot pie. Yummy. Toady is national Pie Day but this was the best I could do. I am going back upstairs to lie down again.

Yeah those two are best friends. You should see the NH hen that lays eggs on him. The pullet sitting on him is a tough one she has had leg problems, gets stepped on by hens ducks and turkeys and had may feathers pulled that is why she does not look that nice. She is a Barred rock bantam.

Got my knives today Kelly! That was the UPS guy delivering them when we were trying to have a phone conversation and Tucker went psycho.

They are razor sharp!

Injuries so far:

1.) Tiny stab wound in fingertip trying to get the big chef knife out of the cardboard sleeve.
2.) Cut fingernail trying to peel celeriac with small paring knife.
3.) Tip of nail cut off while dicing potatoes.

That's it so far!

Tell Michael to take those knives away from you! Sheesh!

What the heck is going to happen when you wash them? News flash: You are supposed to keep your fingers away from the blade.

Coloring is hard work! She crashed about 2:30 and didn't wake up until after the bus came at 4. It's nearly 10 PM and she's still awake (but laying in her bed quietly) so I'm paying for it now!
