I bought one of the coops Molly's hubby builds for Michael's daughter and her family to thank them for cutting down the dead trees. It was delivered today and apparently instantly converted to a playhouse! She won't want to do that when the chickens arrive!




I thought it would be a good starter coop for them. They plan to fence a bigger run around it for when they are home but they can keep them safe when they aren't. They just want to start with three layers and then of course I am hatching Ember a sizzle!

I use these pens for lots of different things. Small flocks, Breeding pens, grow out pens. My husband even made me one just like this, just low to the ground..it works great for my Broody coop..

Best of Opposite Sex.

I was told never tell how many dogs you were in the ring with, but there was our 7 month old female, and an almost 2 year old GCH male (owned by our friend). However, it was explained to me that the Judge doesn't have to award the Best of Opposite, so its something. The judges were very encouraging about her potential.
